I joined in early 2024 to contribute to a spectacular team with a "can do" attitude, customer service, and the center of all energy!

My SparkChange "Why"  

I started my career in the mid-90s in revenue cycle management. The industry has changed significantly and has stayed stagnant in many ways. The SparkChange conversations that made my ears perk up were directly related to what can be done to help organizations vs reporting what is "friction" or what can't be solved. SparkChange understands that facilities have made significant investments and usually don't have teams that can truly innovate within those solutions. SparkChange comes to the table as a true partner to help organizations optimize, automate, and execute a plan of sustainability.

What I Love About SparkChange  

The energy the SparkChange team exudes is what great teams are made of! It is amazing to be part of teams with such diverse backgrounds professionally and how everyone's contributions matter! There really are no problems the team won't tackle. If they can't do it, they learn more about what they can do and keep their chins up! And my absolute favorite thing is that customer service is alive and well here at SparkChange!

Before SparkChange 

I have had such a lucky life! Healthcare has introduced me to some of the best people on the planet! I met long-standing friends throughout my career, had great partner relationships, and served some great clients. The lenses through which I have been lucky enough to see this industry have been working for large, medium, and startup revenue cycle companies. I have also had the privilege of working within healthcare provider entities while sitting in the seats of revenue cycle professionals. Independent consulting also allowed me to pick some of my favorite things to do and help folks who have inspired me over the years. I am always incredibly excited to continue learning and contributing, which is why SparkChange is an excellent fit for me today.

When I'm Not Working 

I live in McKinney, Texas, with my husband Curt. Our son is learning and living his best life at SCAD in Savannah, Georgia. I love being with my family, traveling, catching big fish, golfing, drinking wine, watching the Iowa Hawkeyes, and going on great adventures.

Jill of All Trades based out of Houston, Texas. I specialize in photography, videography, branding, and digital design. I am truly right brained-left brained, there's no doubt about it! I'm creative at my core, but think with a strong analytical mind. I look at everything from the eye of the beholder, and the users experience is more important to me than any thing else. I might be considered a "corporate junky" among my creative friends because I don't do things for the sake of creativity. I am a strategic thinker, with a creative flair, following the data, the analytics, the numbers, and the customer's voice in order to design, develop, and strategize.
