What I Do Here

I co-founded SparkChange in 2019 to bring transformation to an industry that desperately needs it. As an engineer by background and questioner by nature, my day-to-day activities are closely aligned with guiding our SparkChange strategy. I work with our leaders and team to ensure we remain true to our promise to make things easier for our clients. As a business owner, I am also deeply involved in the growth and evolution of our company.

My SparkChange "Why"

My experience in the industry and as a healthcare consumer has highlighted how the healthcare revenue cycle is built to allow payers to win and hospitals and patients to fail. Deeply dissatisfied with "no" as an answer, I set out to collaborate with clients, ask tough questions, and enact the creative solutions needed to disrupt the industry. SparkChange is a place where we can say, "This is dumb. Why are we asking clients to do this?" and then do something to make it better. The impacts we have made to date have been validating, but new issues come up every day that require a critical reevaluation.

What I Love About SparkChange

We adopted the core values of Think, Do, Win early on and live them out daily. We take a thoughtful approach to our collaboration with clients and ask questions no one else asks to identify resolutions that have not yet been considered. Our dedication to problem-solving allows us to continue learning and taking on more challenges for clients as we grow. We are a team of Doers focused on transformative action, not just talking, and we deliver on our commitments. Most importantly, we win as a team and with our clients.

Before SparkChange

I spent the early part of my career with a large EHR at the intersection of healthcare and technology. I began as a software engineer and later moved into leadership, growing associates, developing strategic plans, and delivering unmatched results. As a calculated and logical risk-taker, I used my deep technical, system, and industry knowledge to inspire over 200 associates across 12 Revenue Cycle teams, providing over 400 clients with world-class support. Recognized for my ingenuity and creativity, I built a reputation for running high-performing and efficient teams, out-of-the-box thinking, and knowledge of the Revenue Cycle industry.

When I'm Not Working

I am married to my high school sweetheart, Jenny, and we enjoy keeping up with our two energetic boys: watching them in their numerous activities, traveling to new places, and researching and trying great restaurants. As Wisconsin natives, we also enjoy (depending on the season) cheering for the Green Bay Packers. Our faith plays a central role in our lives, and we are grateful for the fellowship and witness of our church, where you will find us serving in various capacities. I will never turn down a round of golf, a pick-up basketball game, or almost any opportunity to spark my competitive spirit.

Molly Maron

Jill of All Trades based out of Houston, Texas. I specialize in photography, videography, branding, and digital design. I am truly right brained-left brained, there's no doubt about it! I'm creative at my core, but think with a strong analytical mind. I look at everything from the eye of the beholder, and the users experience is more important to me than any thing else. I might be considered a "corporate junky" among my creative friends because I don't do things for the sake of creativity. I am a strategic thinker, with a creative flair, following the data, the analytics, the numbers, and the customer's voice in order to design, develop, and strategize.
